Unless its peers in the superior D1100 Series, the imageCLASS D480 is limited to speeds of 23ppm and 23cpm. Like its competitors, however, the copier relies on the Canon Single Cartridge System, which combines the toner and drum into a single easy-to-replace unit, thereby reducing expenses and making ink replacement a simpler process. Additional features include duplex versatility (copying, printing, faxing, scanning), a 250-paper cassette, and a 50-sheet document feeder.
